Abstract

FEATURES OF HEMATOLOGICAL, BIOCHEMICAL AND MICRONUTRIENT STATUS OF PRIMARY BLOOD DONORS OF MEN, DEPENDING ON AGE

Nilufar Sharipovna Akhmedova* and Kamol Jumaevich Boltaev

ABSTRACT

This study aimed were studied hematological, biochemical and indicators of essential hematopoietic trace elements-iron, copper, zinc in primary blood donors of men in the age aspect. Were examined 2 group of primary blood donors of men was formed by random nonrepeat selection, a total of 61 donors. The age of the surveyed was from 20 to 55 years (median age-35.0 ± 1.2 years). Of all examined blood donors, men formed a group of young age donors (42 donors in total) in the age range of 20-39 years (median age-29.5 ±0.74 years) and a group of donors (18 donors in total) in the age range of 41-59 years (median age 46.7 ± 1.3 years. There is shown phenomenon of reduction of hemoglobin and reserve Fund of iron in the body of blood donors of older ages. Derived informative ferromagnetically indicator-the coefficient of saturation transferrin (CST) by iron averaged 35.6±1.2% in the examined blood donors, with the range of fluctuations of this indicator in donors from 21.4% (min) to 55.8% (max). This is more than 2 times higher than the lower limit of the norm for this indicator in 16%, which is a marker of the onset of iron deficiency erythropoiesis.
