ABSTRACT

Menopause or Rajonivritti refers to final cessation of menstruation. This is not described as a diseased condition in our classic text. It is a physiological process but it leads to various changes in a woman’s body and even lifestyle. It is natural transition in her body but causes various physical and mental hazards. In Ayurved prevention and concept of those changes are explained, from which we can give better life to a woman. So to maintain her health, utmost care and effective treatment is needed.
