Abstract

ILL EFFECTS OF RITU VIRRUDHA AHARA-VIHARA

ABSTRACT

In India there are six Ritus divided into 2 Kaal i.e., Aadan and Visarg kaal. Each Kaal comprises 3 Ritus. Ayurveda stated the concept of Ritucharya which gives the logical reasoning and vision to see beyond the limits, the science of what we should do & not & why we should do it, in different seasons. We all focus on what we eat but moreover we should focus on what we have to avoid. As diet conflicting the Ritus acts as Virrudha Ahara which causes Ama Visha the root cause of several disorders. This Ama visha later gets accumulated in the body acts as Dushi Visha leading to deterioration of health.
