ABSTRACT

According to Ayurveda, the union of Shukra (spermatozoa), Shonita (ovum) and Atma (soul) inside the uterus is known as Garbha (embryo). Different components originating from Panchamahabhuta (Five Elements) takes part in the formation and development of the Garbha.
