RELATIVE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT METHODS OF REARING ON THE FREE AMINO ACIDS CONTENT IN THE LARVAL HAEMOLYMPH OF ANTHERAEA MYLITTA D. (SATURNIIDAE: LEPIDOPTERA)
Md. Tahfizur Rahman*, Fatma Zohra Khatoon, Sarfaraz Ali, S. K. Singh and V. K. Singh
Abstract The present communication accounts for the relative impact of Indoorand Outdoor rearing of tasar silkworm, Antheraea mylitta D. on thenumber of concentration of free amino acids in their larvalhaemolymph. The results obtained are indicative of the fact that thenumber and concentration of free amino acids in the larvalhaemolymph of Antheraea mylitta D. are evidently greater in theOutdoor reared larvae as compared to Indoor reared larvae. The saidvariation appears due to the differences among the environmentalconditions of larval culture of indigenous tasar silkworm. Keywords: Terminalia tomentosa(Asan), Terminalia arjuna(Arjun), Shorea robusta(Sal), sericologists. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
