The features of Eczema are somewhat similar with that of Vicharchika. Symptoms of Vicharchika mentioned by Sushruta correlate with dry eczema, whereas the symptoms mentioned by Charaka correlate with weteczema. Tuvarak contain acids like Chaulmugric acid, Hydnocarpic acid, Palmitic acid and having Katu(spicy), tikta(bitter) rasa(taste), ushna virya, katu(spicy) vipaka, tikshna snigdha guna.
