REVIEW ON NEONATAL SEPSIS

. Abstract Neonatal sepsis is defined as the blood infection that occurs in infants who are younger than 90 days of age. Neonatal sepsis is a systemic condition of bacterial, viral, or fungal origin which is associated with haemodynamic changes and other clinical manifestations that result in substantial morbidity and mortality. According to Who (2001) In the developing countries, neonatal mortality (deaths in the first 28 days of life per 1000 live births) from all causes is about 34.
