Abstract

Psoriasis is correlated with Ek-kushta, which is a type of kshudrakushta due to resemblances in sign and symptoms. It is a non-infectious chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease. The number of people Suffering from Psoriasis all over the world is increasing progressively. One of the most common skin problem are seen in today’s era is ek kushtha. Ek kushtha is characterized by Aswedana, Matsyashakalopamam (scaling), mahavastu. Patient came to us with severe Aswedana, Matsyashakalopamam, Kandu, Twakvaivarnya, rukshata. First step towards any treatment is nidan parivarjan so in present case we selected nidan parivarjan, pachan, virechan and takrashirodhara as a treatment. This treatment gave us very effective results in patients.
