. Abstract The most adaptable technology available is HPTLC, which is renowned for its consistency, purity profile, assay values, and precision and accuracy of outcomes. It can manage several samples with even different compositions and natures. The main objective of this study was to create an analytical method for quantifying polyphenols like chlorogenic acid, which is contained in Calendula officinalis Linn, utilizing high performance liquid chromatography and high performance thin layer chromatography. Combining these two analytical techniques could be helpful for quality control analysis because it would result in a quick, accurate, and straightforward method. To determine the identity of the plant material, a straightforward chromatographic approach HPTLC provides important extra information. High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) is an advanced instrumental technique built on thin layer chromatography's entire range of capabilities. Keywords: .
