A REVIEW ARTICLE ON THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ALLOPATHY AND AYURVEDA IN TREATMENT OF JAUNDICE

. Abstract Today, everyone believes that medicine is the first line of defence against all illnesses. Since ancient times, people have been using and practising medicine. The analysis is done using both conventional and contemporary medical practises. Since ancient times, the medical industry has made enormous advancements in the development of medications. The main source of food, shelter, and many therapeutic techniques is provided by plants. Around the world, they are used to treat a variety of human illnesses. The phytomedicinal significance of E. alba in Ayurveda and folk medicine systems is summarised in the current review. It is one of the plants that is most frequently utilised in conventional medical systems including Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, homoeopathic, Chinese, and folk medicine. This medicinal plant's several parts each contain a variety of significant phytochemical components, including coumestans, triterpenes, flavonoids, steroids, polypeptides, and saponins. This programme would benefit Ayurvedic doctors, pharmaceutical companies, Bhasma's are one of the most distinctive dosage forms from the list of options; they are created by incinerating medications that are preferably of a metal or mineral origin. The tree product has no significant or negative side effects. The main objective of this review/study was to increase knowledge about this valuable tree with multiple medicinal uses.
