A REVIEW ARTICLE ON CONSERVATION OF MEDICINAL PLANT

. Abstract Ayurveda [traditional drugs of Republic of India as per WHO], the holistic science of medication, as practiced and utilised by Indians at giant since centuries is currently being globally accepted that has raised the demand for healthful plants. Majority of population within the developing countries like Republic of India depends on the normal systems of medication like piece of writing for his or her primary care wants. Increasing demand of healthful plants results in irrational cutting deforestation resulting in depletion of the wild resources. Moreover, the natural and manmade calamities result in additional depletion of healthful plant diversity. Conservation aims at supporting property development by wing the biological resources in ways in which don’t run through the world’s sort of species or destroy their ecosystems. It involves measures like assortment, propagation, evaluation, illness identification and elimination, storage and distribution. Conservation of healthful plants and their genetic resources are often undertaken by unmoved and ex-situ conservation. Ex-situ conservation involves conservation of medium plants outside their natural surroundings wont to safe guard them from destruction, replacement or deterioration.
