A REVIEW ON THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE TREATMENT AND DIAGNOSIS OF EARLY STAGE OF CANCER

. Abstract Today, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are proving to have a variety of applications in many fields, including medicine. Cancer is one of the most common non-communicable diseases in modern times, causing many deaths worldwide. Attempts to increase cancer mortality and morbidity are ongoing studies. The integration of artificial intelligence in cancer research is being actively pursued with very promising results. It is a key factor that plays an important role in improving cancer prognosis, including early detection and accurate diagnosis using various imaging and molecular techniques. Using artificial intelligence as a tool in these areas showed the potential for detection and diagnosis with higher accuracy. This is just one of the many uses of AI in cancer research. The current review aims to delve into the literature and enumerate the applications of artificial intelligence in various common cancer types.
