A REVIEW ON NANOCARRIERS BASED NOVEL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM; AN EFFECTIVE DRUG DELIVERY
Dr. Mohd. Wasiullah, Piyush Yadav*, Rahul Yadav and Shivanand Yadav
. Abstract Nanomedicine and nanoparticulate drug delivery systems are a relatively new but rapidly developing science which serve to deliver therapeutic agents to specific targeted sites in a predetermined and controlled manner. Nanotechnology offers multiple benefits in the treatment of various chronic human diseases by site-specific, and target-oriented delivery of precise drugs. Nanocarriers improve the bioavailability and therapeutic efficiency of various drugs, while providing preferential accumulation at the target site. The objective of this review is to develop a carrier-based nanoparticulate drug delivery system for the elimination of problems associated with the conventional dosage form. This review presents an updated summary of recent advances in the field of nanomedicines and nanoparticulate based drug delivery systems through comprehensive scrutiny of the discovery and application of nanomaterials in improving both the efficacy of novel and old drugs. Keywords: Nanomedicine, Nanoparticulate drug delivery system, Nanotechnology, nanocarriers Conventional dosage form. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
