A REVIEW ON HERBAL TREATMENT OF ASTHMA AND COPD

. Abstract Asthma and COPD are chronic seditious respiratory conditions affecting millions of people worldwide and adding in frequency. Asthma originates in non-age, is associated with disinclinations and related to eosinophils, whereas, COPD occurs in grown-ups who bomb, due to involvement of neutrophils. The current allopathic system of medicine end to palliate symptoms rather than cure, principally these treatments include anti-inflammatory remedy, corticosteroids, and bronchodilators. Over use of some curatives can lead to adverse effects among cases, similar as pneumonia and cardiac comorbidities. Currently, the interest of people diverts toward the area of phytomedicine. Phytomedicine is defined as a plant- based traditional medical practice that uses colourful plant accoutrements in modalities considered both preventative and remedial. This review focuses on recent mortal clinical trials using Plant- based drugs for the treatment of asthma and COPD.
