MOLECULAR INTERACTION STUDIES IN BINARY LIQUID MIXTURES OF ANISOLE WITH n-HEXANE AND n-HEPTANE USING ULTRASONIC TECHNIQUE FOR 3 MHz AT TEMPERATURE 303K.
Krishna H Fattepur*, Raghavendra H Fattepur, Kirasur B. N.,
Abstract Ultrasonic velocity (u), density () of binary systems Anisole with n- Hexane and n-Heptane have been measured for the entire composition range at 3 MHz at constant temperature 303 K. From the experimental data the acoustic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (), intermolecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z), interaction parameter () and molar volume (Vm) have been computed and presented as functions of molar volume of Anisole. The deviations from ideal behavior is explained in terms of dipole-induced dipole inter molecular interactions between components of the mixtures.
