The etiopathogenesis, clinical characteristics, and management of Tamaka Shwasa have all been thoroughly described by Charaka. One of the best medication compositions described by Acharya Charaka is Shwasahara Mahakashaya. There are 10 Dravyas in all, and the majority of them exhibit Vata- Kaphaghna qualities.
