Dr. Prakash Tigari*, Nisha H. M., K. Firdos, H. K. Yashvantha
Abstract 1. Introduction: Inflammation is a natural response of the body to injury, infection, or harmful stimuli. However, prolonged inflammation may contribute to chronic diseases. Although nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used to manage inflammation, their long-term use may cause adverse effects. Therefore, medicinal plants are being investigated as potential sources of natural anti-inflammatory agents. The present study evaluates the in-vitro anti-inflammatory activity of a polyherbal extract containing turmeric (Curcuma longa), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), black pepper (Piper nigrum), and Aloe vera Keywords: Polyherbal extract, anti-inflammatory activity, turmeric, Tulsi, black pepper, Aloe vera, phytochemical analysis, membrane stabilization.
