Abstract

The aqueous and chloroform leaf, flower, stem and seed extracts of Tephrosia purpurea evaluated the antibacterial screening by disc diffusion methods along with their Phytochemical screening.The Tephrosia purpurea extracts are sensitive to five pathogenic organisms such as, Staphylococcus epidermis, E.coli, Pseudomononas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis and Proteus mirabilis by disc diffusion methods.The phytochemiocal screening to identify the active compounds.
