ETHANOBOTANICAL SURVEY OF KOPARGAON TEHSIL OF MAHARASHTRA

Abstract

The present study deals with Ethanobotanical Plants use by the people of Kopargaon Tehsil of District Ahmednagar (M.S.) India. In the present investigation it is observed that, the total of 48 valuable plant species belonging to 29 families are identified with relevant information and documented in this paper, with regard to their Botanical Name, Habit, Local Name, Family, Origin, Plant part use and utilized by the local people and medicinal practitioners for the common ailments like diseases like cough, cold, piles, diabetes, skin disease, hepatitis, fever, toothache, etc.
