Abstract

Santarpaniya Adhyaya lies at the third place in Yojana Chatuska In this chapter the Yojana on the basis of Samutthana is mainly explained. As Prakriti wise classification of Vikara as per Astouninditiya has ended by categorizing the two different entity Sthula and Krusa, on the same line this dual way of classification of etiological factors classifies disease into Santarpanotha and Apatarpanottha Vikara (Disease arriving from excessive impletion and depletion) and its bhesaja Yojana is elaborated in this chapter.
