HEALTH BEHAVIOR CHANGE IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH OBESITY

Abstract Maintaining levels of physical activity, eating a healthy diet and weight management are important health behaviors for pregnant women and their unborn child. This study indicates that pregnancy provides an opportunity for women to reassess their current health behaviors and an opportunity for health professionals to support positive behavior change. Structuring health systems so that they support women to adopt and maintain positive health behaviors Women‟s reported health behaviors before and during pregnancy: A retrospective study 14 should be a public health priority.
