MANAGEMENT AND THERAPY OF POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME

Abstract
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) was a series of symtoms
connected to hyperandrogenism and chronic anovulation related to
endocrine and metabolic disorders on women without any primary
disease on basic hypofyse or adrenal glands. PCOS could be treated by
altered lifestyle, cured menstruation disorder and endometrium,
hyperplasia risks, cured hirsutism, and cured insulin resistance. In
terms of insulin resistance, the treatments were by provision of
metformin, thiazolidinedione, clomiphene citrate, Family Planning
drugs that were a combination between estrogen-progestin, ovarian
drilling surgery therapy with laser or diathermy.
