Abstract

Hemidesmus indicus (L.) R.Br. is very useful herb in pharmacology. It is used a lot due to its medicinal properties. There are many drug preparations perform by using this plant. Plant has various antimicrobial activities that work effectively on many bacteria and fungus. A lot of chief phytochemicals are present in leaves and roots. This plant has been used since a long time to cure a lot of disease. Traditionally used of this plant has been done in Srilanka, India and other country since very long time. It is a very important medicinal plant in term of human being, so we are studying its review of literature.
