Abstract

The need of Traditional Medical treatments is gradually increasing day by day because of raising awareness about our deep tradition, low economic, adverse effect of current treatment methods etc. On other Side systems of medicine trying to upgrade with new technologies to increase the efficacy of Medicine, Low Economic price and increase biological half-life. Cancer is one among the leading causes of human death - worldwide. Here comes the wonderful therapeutic and prophylactic role of traditional system of medicine. Cancer is known as “PUTTRU NOI” in Siddha system which literally mean “Termite Mound”. This article is such an effective scientific document that proof PERU MARUNTHUGAL is anti-cancer agent for the treatment of Cancer which is in Siddha Origin, more effective, less invasive and cost effective.
