A CRITICAL REVIEW ON NETRYA & NETRAMAYHAR DRAVYA IN GUDUCHYAADI VARGA OF BHAVPRAKASH NIGHANTU

Abstract

Ayurveda have main principle i.e. “Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam, Aturasya Vikar Prashamanacha”. According to this principle here we study the Netrya Dravya (beneficial for eyes) & Netramayhar Dravya (treating eye diseases) in Guduchyaadi Varga of Bhavprakash Nighantu. In present article we see the mode of action of Netrya & Netramayhar Dravya on the basis of Raspanchak.
