MOLECULAR DETECTION OF AROE GENE IN PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA ISOLATED FROM WOUND INFECTION
Alaa S. Hamzah* and Riad A. Dellol
Abstract One hundred and twenty samples were collected from wound infection. The samples were cultured on blood agar and MacConkey agar media. Then selected all bacterial isolates that were non fermentative lactose on MacConkey. These bacterial isolates were laboratory diagnosed according to morphological and biochemical tests and confirmed by using VITEK-2 Compact system. The results of identification showed found 43 isolates belong to Pseudomonas aeruginosa in percentage (35.83%). DNA content of all these bacterial isolates were extracted to detect aroE gene in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The results showed that all bacterial isolates have aroE gene in its genome content. Keywords: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, aroE gene, Wound infection. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
