Abstract
Antibiotic cycling is a process of planned antibiotic restriction, whichimproves antibiotic effectiveness. Limited use of co-trimoxazole inclinical practice is responsible for increased effectiveness ofcotrimoxazole in Escherichia coli and Klebseilla spp in urinary tractinfections. The retrospective study supports this concept. This studyconcludes that sensitivity of Escherichia coli and Klebseilla spp to cotrimoxazolehas been increased.
