ROLE OF SANKE VENOM CONSTITUENTS AS A BIOMEDICINE IN VARIOUS DISEASE CONDITION/ HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT AND ANTI-VENOM PRODUCTION

Abstract Snake envenomation could be a socio-medical problem of considerable magnitude. Arround 2.5 million peoples are bitten by snakes annually, quite 100,000 fatally. However, although bites can results in death, venom is largely a natural biological resource that consists of variouse chemical constitents which might be used therapeutically as a drugs. Venom has been employed in the treatment of a spread of diseased conditions as a Ayurvedic, homeopathic and folk medicine. With the arrival of biotechnology, the efficacy of such venoms in treatments of snake bite and other treatment are often possible by purifying components of venom and delineating their therapeutic properties. This review will specialize in entire venom constituents, and their uses in healthcare and diseased condition and anti-venom production.
