Abstract

World Health Organization recommended the search for safer and alternative medication for infectious diseases in human regarding bacterial resistant. Ayurvedic, Indian system of medicine is based on herbal or herbo-mineral formulation that might be act in synergistic way to treat the ailments. Chandraprabha Vati, an unique herbomineral formulation frequently used in treatment of Mutrakriccha/urinary tract infection. It may act against the E coli, which is mainly responsible Urinary tract infection. It is recommended in urinary tract infection on the basis of its anti inflammatory, antioxidant and alkalizing properties.
