Abstract

Depression is one of the most common disorder in the World. A large number of researchers have been researched on depression from India. A large number of research as well as review articles have been published on various aspect of the depression like epidemiology, prevention of depression, effect of antidepressant herbal drugs & experimental models. The aim of this study is to conduct a systemic review on various experimental models, neurotransmitters & history of antidepressant drugs.
