Abstract

The human safety trial of the vaccine began in India from Serum Institute of India, Pune, with the first two of the 800 healthy volunteers approach for the study being injected with chAdOxncoV-19.This is the sixth coronavirus vaccine to enter the first phase of clinical trials, raising hope of an antidote against the virus that continues to ravage the world. The current scenario in COVID-19 research, Phytomedicine may give a extremely benefit result as a supportive treatment of URTI (upper respiratory tract infection) and LRTI (lower respiratory tract infection)like Andrographis paniculata, Ivy, Naringenin chalcone, and Allium sativum are reported for treatment of various respiratory illness.
