Abstract

A BRIEF REVIEW ON CORONAVIRUS COVID-19: A WIDESPRADE INFECTIOUS DISEASE

Abstract

Purpose: A Major crisis ever had globally happened in 21st century. A Novel Corona virus-2019 (nCoV) is the major source of this epidemic disaster. The coronavirus outbreak is one of the rarest human tragedies, affecting hundreds of thousands of people. The development and spreading of this virus is big mystery hide by China, as it was firstly observed in Wuhan city of China in October 2019. Coronavirus is a RNA virus causing Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in human being ranging from mild to serious in condition with mortality rate ranging from 2-11%. However, the lack of specific drugs till the date for prevention or treatment against this fastly spreading infection, preventive measures such as cleanliness, social distancing and support therapy are the only options left to control it. China is the only country that able to control disaster till the date by following preventive measures. To follow this, the entire world is under lockdown and has major impact on global economy. Conclusion: Observing current situation of the whole world it is very necessary to create the awareness about the facts of coronavirus. This review comprises a brief introduction of novel Corona virus, its structure, history, symptoms, prevention, treatment, transmission, replication and current status.
