SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION ON COVID-19 AS: A DISEASE CAUSING AGENT AND A GLOBAL CAUSE OF PANDEMIC
Saurabh Dilip Bhandare*
Abstract SARS-CoV-2 which is a causative agent of COVID-19 is a mammalian virus found in animal responsible for causing respiratory illness. It spreads from person to person and is thought to spread from conventional modes of touch, from person to person and from virus loaded things and other conventional routes of transmission of SARSCoV, MERS-CoV, and highly pathogenic influenza that consists, spread of the respiratory droplets and through direct contact mechanisms that probably occur with SARS-CoV-2 as well from other sources such as, sweat of an infected person or body fluids such as: saliva and urine. It is also noted that despite of phylogenetic homogeneity between SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV, there are some clinical characteristics that differentiate COVID-19 from SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and seasonal influenza. It is a highly death causing virus that had cause global pandemic state in humans across the globe. After noticing that time have changed from Herpes and Legionnaires‟ disease in the 1970, to AIDS, Ebola, the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), and COVID-19. Contagious disease continue to threaten and disrupt human populations; causing the state of pandemic. It is also understood that COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 Corona virus epidemic has a natural origin and therefore COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) test is an essential way for rapid development of Corona virus vaccines which is required. Identification of the pathogens has been proved that it is identified as a novel enveloped RNA beta Corona virus that has currently been named as severe acute respiratory syndrome-SARS that is Corona virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) which has a phylogenetic similarities to SARS-CoV. This virus is a zoonotic virus and causes zoonosis. Keywords: COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, Pandemic, U.S.FDA, U.K.MHRA. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
