PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECT OF DEEP SEA DIVING ON BODY SYSTEM

Abstract
The depth at which Deep Sea begins is about 200m, where sunlight
becomes less for photosynthesis.as we all know that hydrostatic
pressure is one of the most important environmental factors affecting
deep sea life. since ancient times Deep sea diving has been done by
people, many people mostly Greeks initially used deep sea diving for
commercial purpose to collect lots goods before becoming a very
popular recreational activity as it is today.as with any form of physical
activity, the body undergoes a series of physical pains that places
strain. The changes occur varies with depth and time. When the person
dives this may leads to short term or long term affects which causes
physiological effects on body system. Some of them is named under
the head of nitrogen narcosis, DCS, oxygen toxicity etc. The nitrogen
narcosis has symptoms which we can resemble with alcohol intoxication. These effects occur
may be very harmful if not treated as soon as possible.
