Abstract

Phyllanthus fraternus medicinal plant belonging to the family Euphorbiacea is a well-known traditional medicinal plant used in various indigenous systems of medicine. It is widely distributed throughout India. The present study provides pharmacognostical, physicochemical and phytochemical details of the P. fraternus useful in laying down standardization and pharmacopoeial parameters.
