APPLICATION OF ER: YAG LASER IN THE TREATMENT OF ENDODONTICS

Abstract

With the gradual maturity of laser technology, it has become widely considered a new method for disease treatment. Er: YAG laser are two representative solid-state lasers. This laser is easy to use, comfortable and safe, and thus, it has recently become a research hotspot in dental treatment. Er: YAG laser has been used for the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity and dental caries, root canal therapy, pulp preservation and apical surgery. It is effective adjuvant methods for the treatment of dental pulp diseases and provide new avenues for clinical treatment. In this paper, the application of Er: YAG laser in the treatment of endodontics is described to provide a reference for clinical treatment options.
