MULTISYSTEM INFLAMMATORY SYNDROME IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS ASSOCIATED WITH COVID 19

Abstract Background: The outbreak of Coronavirus disease 2019(covid-19) has created a global crisis. Corona virus disease (covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Coronavirus. People who fall sick in covid-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms such as fever, dry cough, conjunctivitis, headache, loss of taste or smell, discoloration of fingers or toes, breathingdifficulties, chest pain, etc. But recently there have been severe reports of multi system inflammatory syndrome in children associated with covid 19.When compares to adult ,acute corona virus disease appears mild in children were tested positive in the antibody test indicates post infection of corona virus and some are negative in rt-pcr test. Clinical symptoms are gastrointestinal symptoms, cardiological symptoms and respiratory symptoms. Causal link between covid-19 and multi system inflammatory syndrome is unknown. Multi system inflammatory syndrome can be serious, eventually but most children and adolescents who are diagnosed with this condition have gotten better with medicine care. All the caregivers and patients should have concerned about their child health. Early diagnosis and treatment will help the children and adolescents from end organ damage and other long term complication. Methods: Previously published articles regarding the relation of multisystem inflammatory syndrome with the COVID-19 infection have been collected and reviewed. Observation: Misc is a new and potentially fatal disease associated with the recent pandemic COVID-19 caused by SARS CoV- 2. Though it occurs rarely, most of the children can be treated and cured with proper medical care. Being a newly diagnosed disease in children of any age, the long term outcomes of this disease is currently unclear.
