REVIEW ON MORNING SICKNESS ASSOCIATED WITH LOWER RISK OF MISCARRIAGE

Abstract Nausea and vomiting that happens in pregnancy is sometimes called "morning sickness," because these symptoms typically begin within the morning and often resolve as the day progresses. For several women, nausea and vomiting subside by the 4th month of pregnancy. Others may have these symptoms for the duration of their pregnancies. Nausea indicates a healthy pregnancy, but there wasn't many highquality evidence to support this belief. Symptoms from the earliest weeks of pregnancy, confirms that there is a protective association between nausea and vomiting and a lower risk of pregnancy loss. Some of the women who do not experience nausea and vomiting also appear to have increased risk of the preterm delivery, as well as the pregnancies complicated by the intrauterine growth retardation. A lack of all day sickness/morning sickness does not necessarily imply an impending miscarriage. Morning sickness alerts the period of time when foetal development is at greater risk of damage i.e., the time where most significant changes in foetal development takes place. Keywords: .
