AN APPROACH TOWARD KUPOSHANJANYA VYADHIES IN CHILDREN W.S.R. TO BALSHOSHA AND PARIGHARBHIKA

Abstract
The Ayurveda, science of life, a great reward to human beings for prolonging healthy, happy and productive life by alleviating their troubles, has been serving the vast majority of suffering humanity from the time immemorial. According to the World Food Programme and World Bank, malnutrition affects cognitive ability, workdays and health, impacting as much as 16% of GDP of the world. The Global Hunger Index, 2019, reported that India suffers from a serious hunger problem is ranked 102 out of 117 countries. The kuposhanjanya vyadhies which are described in ayurvedic texts by acharyas, as similar to protein energy malnutrition. Karshya, Phakka Roga, Balshosha, Parigharbhik are the vyadhies which are discussed speacially to children age group. Acharya vaghbhata exclusively described Balshosha and Parigharbhik Rogas which results to karshya.
