“ROLE OF GANDUSHA WITH GO-GRIHTHA AND GODUGDHA IN PITTAJA MUKHAPAKA W.S.R. STOMATITIS”

Abstract
Background: Pittaja Mukhpaka is commonest Mukha Roga, characterized by inflammatory and ulcerative condition of mouth. In this condition, majorly due to Pitta Prakopa, causes Paka and symptoms like Toda, Daha, irritation is experienced when patient takes a food. It can be correlated with stomatitis or Aphthous ulcers. Gandusha is one of the important procedures of Dinacharya for maintaining the health of oral cavity. Also, Goghritha, is Madhura Rasayukta, Shita Virya, Pittaghna, and causes Vrana Roopana. Aims and Objectives: To evaluate efficacy of Gandusha with Goghritha and Godugdha in Pittaja Mukhapaka. Result: According to clinical observation, 43.33% patients have shown good response, 56.67% moderate response by Goghritha Gandusha in Mukhapaka. Conclusion: On the basis of this study, it can be concluded in nutshell that Gandusha with Goghrita provided a significant result in reducing signs and symptoms and also in preventing recurrent Mukhapaka.
