Abstract
Beauty is the quality present in a person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations as shape, colour, sound etc., a meaningful design or pattern as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest. The ancient Egyptians regarded beauty as a sign of holiness. Cosmetology is a science dealing with beautification and having certain definite principles. The importance of beauty I and personality is increasing nowadays as it is a competitive era. People are using cosmetics not only for curing their skin problems but in routine to maintain the skin appearance and Beauty. Vyanga is a Kshudra Roga‟ which affects the skin. Vyanga is such type of disease which affects the beauty as well as personality. Now a day‟s Vyanga became the biggest one problem of the society. Vyanga harms beauty of the face so many person may suffer from inferiority complex, anxiety, isolation etc. In Ayurvedic texts, so many remedies are described as internal medicine and external application for skin disorders.
