Abstract Now a days drug -drug interaction is an emerging threat in paediatric population. Poly pharmacy is one of the common causes of drug-drug interactions. Paediatric patients require special attention from health professionals in terms of drug interactions, as they react to drugs differently from adults. In conclusion, while prescribing medications in the paediatric population, physicians should be aware of potential drug interactions and treatment regimens should be adjusted accordingly to improve the patient safety.
