. Abstract The prevalence of hypothyroidism in the world is about 4-5%. It is widely observed in clinical practice that the patients suffer from anxiety and stress due to various complications of hypothyroidism on various aspects of their life. There is a significant evidence to show that hypothyroidism is usually associated with an impact on psychological health. The physical complaints may impair emotional health and quality of life. However, not much attention has been paid till date to the psychosocial aspects of hypothyroidism.[1] In Ayurvedic texts, Brahmi Ghrita Nasya is indicated in Mansika Vikars Apsmara Chikitsa.
