Dr. Rahul Shivaji Muley* and Vd. Naina Vishwakarma
. Abstract Ayurved is the conventional arrangement of medication; Tri Dosha (Three substantial humors), Sapta Dhatu (Seven tissue components) and Tri Mala (Three real byproducts) are referenced as the fundamental variables for the establishment and support of the body. The Sarira (Body), Manas (Mind) and Prana (Life power) are completely upheld by Dhatus. Every one of the seven Dhatus upholds and supports the body all through the life. Meda Dhatu (Adipose Tissue) is the fourth Dhatu out of seven Dhatus, which give the important Snehana (grease and unctuousness) to the body. In the development of Dhatu, Upadhatu and Mala; separate Dhatvagni assumes a significant part in this interaction. The Meda Dhatu in this way framed by the activity of Medo Dhatvagni. During this course of Meda Dhatu beginning Poshya and Poshaka two sorts of Meda Dhatu are framed. Poshya Meda Dhatu supports the Meda Dhatu and Poshaka Meda Dhatu includes in the arrangement of ensuing Asthi Dhatu (Bone tissue). On the off chance that the Medovaha Srotas (Channels liable for conveying Medo Dhatu) get vitiated there will be flawed development of Meda Dhatu and this will ultimately prompt the Meda Pradoshaj Vikaras (Diseases connected with fat). The current survey basically looks at the accessible written works to assess the Meda Dhatu Sankalpana in Ayurved. Keywords: Medovaha Srotas, Meda Dhatu Sarata, Adipose Tissue, Meda Dhatu, Medodhara Kala, Meda Pradoshaj Vikaras, Medo Dhatvagni. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
