THE STUDY OF YOGASANA AND PRANAYAMA ACCORDING TO DOSHAJA PRAKRUTI

. Abstract Yoga and ayurveda are the Indian sciences which are closely related to each other. Ayurved means knowledge of life which keeps body and mind in balanced and healthy state. Similarly, yoga prepares body and mind for enlightenment of the soul. Asanas were claimed to provide both spiritual as well as physical benefits. Human body can be maintained healthy by performing specific yogasanas along with necessary diet according to prakruti. Yog is related to body and body functions are depend on tridoshas. Hence specific yogasanas can be performed to maintain balance of tridoshas. However, there is no such direct reference to correlate between yogasanas and tridosha.
