Abstract This review summarizes the synthetic methods, reactions and biological application of pyrazole and summarizes recent developments in their derivatives such as formyl pyrazole, Schiff base, chalcone, Aromatic nucleophilic substitutation etc. over the last 10 years. Formation of Pyrazole and fused heterocyclic pyrazole derivatives constitute an interesting class of heterocycles, which have diverse biological activities.
