*Tillaeva G. U., Rakhmanova Z. A. and Tillaeva U. M.
. Abstract Annotation. Experimental studies were carried out to study the acute toxicity and bioequivalence of the developed combined action gel of ibuprofen with papaya (extract of the aerial part) for external use. The study was carried out in comparison with the drug analogue "Izigel" - gel for external use manufactured by GM Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Georgia. The study of acute toxicity was carried out on white rats according to the method of Noakes and Sanderson. The antiinflammatory effect of the drug was studied by the method "dextran paw edema in rats" in white rats of both sexes. The data obtained show that the developed gel for external use "Ibupaya" is non-toxic, has a pronounced antiinflammatory activity and is not inferior to the comparator drug "Izigel", and even surpasses. The research was carried out with the aim of introducing a new safe medicinal product into domestic pharmaceutical practice. Keywords: safety, biequivalence, toxicity, gel.
