TO EVALUATE THE CLINICAL EFFICACY OF BILVADI CHURAN IN THE MANAGEMENT OF GARHANI ROGA

Abstract

IBS is the most common gastrointestinal disorder encountered in clinical practice. The Symptoms of this disorder is chronic, sometimes may become severe and least understood. Many times poorly respond to the treatment due to which quality of life of patient gets reduced .in present study, 32 patients were registered out of which 30 patients completed the course of treatment. The trial drug selected was Bilvadi Churna and was administered in the dose of 3 gm BD with Takra for 30 days. The results so obtained after the completion of the therapy were highly significant and hence Bilvadi Churna has proved effective in Grahani Roga because of the properties of drugs like deepana, pachana, digestive, carminatives and anti-spasmodic actions.
