Abstract
Raphanus sativus is consumed in India and considered as one of the
major source of human diet. The major objective of this study is to
determine its antimicrobial activity especially its leaves. In this study,
phytochemical studies were conducted in order to analyze the presence
of secondary metabolites and determined its antimicrobial activity. The
results of these studies showed the existence of metabolites in hydro
alcoholic extracts and also showed its antimicrobial activity as well.
