A CASE REPORT ON DEVELOPMENTAL REGRESSION IN A CHILD

Abstract
Nowadays early detection of any disease prove beneficial for further
intervention and treatment in child. Developmental Regression is a
disease in which a kid loses an acquired function or fail to perform the
activities which he/she had learnt in the past. In the entailing
paragraphs the case repost on developmental regression is briefly
describe. A 4 years and 1 month old, female patient came to tertiary
care teaching hospital. The parents of the child came with several
complaints of their child not able to walk properly or stand in the
proper manner. She was even not able to crawl, besides this, there was
a trouble communicating with both verbally and non-verbally, Speech
and language. For the preceding complaints the therapy was given for a
week. It conclude that there is a suspicious of Autism Spectrum
Disorder or it can be due to brain injury while playing in the absence of her parents and some
environmental factors are also included.
